Miyachi Corporation is the only manufacturer of production equipment with micro joining technologies of both resistance welding and laser welding and is the global company where has the sales and manufacturing facilities in seventeen countries worldwide. Miyachi has the largest market share in the field of micro resistance welding, providing advanced know-how and quality solutions.
Miyachi's state-of-the-art laser equipment and systems loaded its own unique technology enable fast and precise micro processing and span the globe to support manufacturing in the industries of automobile, mobile devices, medical, and even aerospace.
Laser welding is a process where multiple pieces of metal are irradiated by laser to be melted and joined. A variety of laser products of Miyachi includes YAG laser and fiber laser and is widely used in the electronics field where appreciates Miyachi's high-quality fine welding. Miyachi possesses a high share in the mid- and low-power field.
All equipment for processing by laser other than welding is categorized as a laser marker in Miyachi. Miyachi's laser markers are used not only for marking of characters and drawings, but also for a wide range of processing including removing of insulation, deburring, drilling, and cutting. The high-speed and precision processing performance of Miyachi's laser markers contributes to improvements in customers' productivity.
Resistance welding (also called as fine spot welding in Miyachi) is a process to join multiple pieces of metal through the use of resistance heat generated at the interface of the metal parts to be joined by passing an electrical current through them under controlled pressure. Resistance welding equipment is composed of a welding power supply which controls the flow of electric current, and a transformer as well as a weld head which applies electric current and force on the materials. Miyachi specializes in welding of minute materials which requires a high level of know-how and possesses the world's top share in the field of precision resistance welding.
Miyachi provides a variety of systems combining automatic conveying devices that conform to customer needs. System design and software development are incorporated the high-level technology and expansive know-how of Miyachi. In addition to Miyachi's specialties, precision welding and processing systems, Miyachi's system lineup includes a variety of inspection systems. Through the wide range of capabilities, Miyachi makes a broad contribution to realizing the ideal manufacturing of our customers.

Miyachi contributes to the world's manufacturing with the following three advantages.

Miyachi's technology is used for the welding and processing of minute components for electronic devices and contributes to the improvement of quality and productivity in everyday products.

By utilizing a high level of know-how gained over many years, Miyachi proposes optimal joining methods based on the characteristics, shape and condition of material.

Miyachi's technologies are applied for a wide range of manufacturing in the industries of automobile, electronic device, communication device, medical equipment and more. In particular lithium-ion battery and smart phone are major applications of Miyachi products in recent year.

Miyachi has expanded and increased the sales by meeting the demand for micro processing which has been increasing as a lot of components has been getting smaller and more complicated.
Overseas sales is 60% of our total sales and Miyachi is highly appreciated at manufacturing sites especially in Asia.
