AC inverter power supply with good thermal efficiency

AC inverter type do not have a blank-period created from the phase control by thyristor. Unlike the single-phase AC type, the temperature at the wielded spot will not be leapt up intermittently to have a high peak temp. Instead, it continuously and gradually increase and the power supply type shows a good thermal efficiency, which allows it unified heating suppressing the peak current. Hence, high quality and expulsion-less, stable welding can be achieved.

Interrupt function

An inverter type welding power supply and a weld checker (MM-370A with displacement option) are connected, and displacement amount at the electrode (penetration amount) is set in the weld checker. When the displacement amount reaches the set level, a signal will be sent out to trigger the interrupt function, and stops the current. This enables the fusing with stable displacement.

For electrical parts fusing and coated wire welding

The MIB-200A is the ideal welding power supply for coated wire welding and electrical parts fusing. The teaching technique using an optional, MA-627A, has been employed for the setting method. The weld-time can be set by the unit of cycle.

* Fusing is a terminal processing method that vaporizes the coating of coated wire with heated pressing welding and bonds the wire core to the terminal.

There is no need for insulation peeling pre-process.
