Timer (Welding-Control Equipment)

Controls the time during which welding current flows, and the magnitude of current. The time and the magnitude of current can be monitored.
Also controls various times such as squeeze time, preheat time, hold time, cool time, which are necessary for a series of operations for welding (weld sequence). The magnitude of welding current is controlled by means of phase control. Feedback control can be performed using a toroidal-coil-detected welding current.
Unlike welding power supply, thyristor functioning as a switch is separately installed, which can supply a larger current. This timer is well received by auto industry where large-current welding is often required.
